*This policy on personal information protection is made by translating the same policy in Japanese (http://www.xing.co.jp/privacy.php) into English for convenience. If there is any inconsistency between the Japanese version and the English version, the Japanese version is given priority.

XING Inc. (“XING” or “we”) handle your personal information based on the following policy (“the Policy”).

1． Definition of personal information

For the purpose of the Policy, personal information means the information we collect, including name, address, date of birth, phone number, e-mail address, information on product purchased or service used, response to questionnaire, inquiry, request for repair, history of access to our website and other descriptions which allow identification of you based on single or multiple pieces of such information.

2． Acquisition of personal information

We acquire personal information to the extent appropriate after informing you of the purpose of use.

3． Purpose of use of personal information

We use personal information only for the purpose of use we inform you in advance or any of the following purposes.

• ・Shipment of product and provision of service
• ・Provision of after-the-sale service related to product and service

We comply with laws and regulations pertaining to personal information protection and the guidelines specified by administrative bodies and industry groups.

We develop rules on handling of personal information, appoint a personal information manager and keep officers/employees/temporary employees informed and educated to acquire, use and provide personal information properly. In addition, we take appropriate safety measures for the acquired personal information to prevent leakage, loss or damage, and unauthorized access to personal information.

Request for disclosure of personal information and notification of purpose of use are accepted through the following procedures. Please be aware that we charge you 1,000 yen per one request (“Commission”). (Only postal money order is accepted for payment of the Commission.)

You apply to contact point for personal information.

We send you the predefined forms.

You send us the postal money order equivalent to Commission, the predefined forms and identification document (collectively “application forms”).

We give you a response.

• *The contact point is closed on Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays and our company holidays.
• *It may take some time to give you a response depending on the contents of inquiry. We will respond to you to the extent reasonable.
• *The contact point for personal information is for inquiries on personal information only. Please note that we cannot accept any other inquiries.
• *If you are under age 16, be sure to obtain consent of your parent before contacting us for inquiries.
• *We send our reply to you only. Please refrain from reproduction or secondary use of a part or the whole of our reply.
• *We may not respond to your inquiries in any of the following circumstances.

• ・We cannot confirm your identity.
• ・We cannot confirm attorneyship in the case of application by a deputy.
• ・Application forms are insufficient.
• ・We do not have the requested piece of information.
• ・It possibly harms life, body, property and other right and benefit of you or a third party.
• ・It possibly causes grave hindrance to our proper work practice.
• ・Commission is not paid (only in the case of disclosure and notification of purpose of use of personal information).
• ・Response to inquiry breaches laws and regulations.

8． Improvement and change of the Policy

We seek to improve the Policy constantly. The Policy may be changed according to the change of laws and regulations or for our reasons.
